I have a diverse work background and a deep set of skills that were developed in a variety of business settings. I use those experiences and skills to help law firms bring order to chaos.

Litigation support and law firm operations is a post-corporate second career for me where my only real aspiration is to be useful.

Document intensive and complex litigation requires a methodical and analytic approach to managing and analyzing discovery.

  • Comfortable with large data sets - have worked cases with 2M+ pages of discovery.

  • Able to identify, and more importantly, explain key documents that support or refute the case theory.

  • Capable of managing all operational aspects of incoming and outgoing document production.

  • Experienced user of multiple eDiscovery platforms and can apply that experience to other software tools.

Analytics

Law firms have the same need for financial or operational reporting and analysis as other businesses but are rarely well situated to do it.

  • Litigation with high discovery page counts are best reviewed using the best technology available and applying a forensic approach to search, filtering, and organizing.

  • Experienced with all aspects of financial analysis including client level profitability

  • An eye for analyzing and improving back-office efficiency.

  • Have developed attorney level scorecards to track goal progress, efficiency and profitability.

Project Management

Law firms run on a never-ending series of projects of varying sizes and complexities.

  • All cases are projects - helping project manage complicated, multi-party litigation frees up attorney and paralegal time.

  • Back-office efficiency can either help, or hinder attorneys. I aim to make every process run better.

  • Deep experience with identifying, sourcing, and implementing productivity enabling software tools.
